Confirmation

It’s wonderful when young people decide to prepare for confirmation – particularly here in the Holy Land! Young people aged between 11 and 15 get together for several weekend courses.

This period culminates in their confirmation at the Church of the Redeemer. The sacrament is of course recognised by all Protestant churches.

Marriage

Would you like to get married in the Church of the Redeemer or the Church of the Ascension? Get in touch with us: propstei@redeemer-jerusalem.com

One of the spouses must be a member of a Protestant church.

If you are not a member of our community, you will also need a declaration of consent from your home parish.

Funerals

Members of our community can be laid to rest in the Protestant cemetery.

The Mount Zion Cemetery was founded at the time of the joint Anglican/Protestant diocese on Mount Zion in Jerusalem.
