If you live in the area served by the German-Speaking Evangelical Community (Evangelischen Gemeinde Deutscher Sprache) in the Holy Land, you can become a member of our congregation. All you have to do is fill out the membership form and send it to us. Members of a regional Protestant church in Germany can continue their membership in Jerusalem and be exempted from paying church tax in Germany. Instead, the community of the Church of the Redeemer requests that you pay an obligatory membership fee which is roughly equivalent to German church tax. Members with no income of their own (volunteers, students etc.) are requested to pay a minimum contribution of EUR 20.00 or NIS 100.00 a year.
